CEO & FOUNDER
As CEO & Founder of FGS, Sue is passionate about working with all sizes of companies in FinTech to help them accelerate growth and innovate new business techniques. Sue was Head of Innovation for D+H (now Finastra), SVP and GM of a startup business unit she created for Broadridge that grew to $40 Million in revenue in 24 months, and has spent 25 years in various corporate executive positions and new startup roles.
MANAGING PARTNER & CO-FOUNDER
As Managing Partner and Co-founder, Tracy brings Innovation strategy and execution experience to our clients. Recent roles included Innovation Principal and User Experience & Design Center of Excellence Leader for one of North America’s largest Fintech companies. With a recent certification in Design Thinking, Tracy led the successful commercialization a North American Fintech Product as well as worked with a global consultancy to innovate sales processes.
Ramy is an engineer, designer and maker. He specializes in leading the Strategy and Design teams while working directly with key clients to create innovative and differentiated customer experiences. Leveraging best practices from the worlds of Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design, Ramy ensures that customers and end-users are central in solving complex business challenges. Ramy is also highly qualified in machine learning and advanced analytics, and innovation with data.
Simon Chan is a seasoned leader of strategic planning and business development with 20 years of experience in financial services. Simon was recently Assistant Vice President, Strategic initiatives for the Retail business at Manulife Financial, and has held various senior roles at Manulife for 10 years. In his last role he was a member of the Retail executive management team and was responsible for strategic planning and development for the Insurance, Investment, and Securities businesses as well as leading the digital solutions, advisor experience and regulatory and public affairs teams.
MARKETING & ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR
Gary is a founder of FGS, and runs the day-to-day. He is passionate about FinTech and whats happening on the ground, and manages the admin side of the business too. A self-proclaimed "support services" team member, Gary pitches in wherever the business needs him.
In his spare time, he is an avid follower of politics, world events, and English literature. And he knows just a little bit of over 10 languages!
Carrie Russell has been an advisor to FGS since inception, and has been instrumental to the success of the company. She plays a strategic role advising the Syndicate team, clients and partners.
Carrie is a hands-on coach to FinTech founders and CEOs on building and testing business models, stand-out value-propositions, and go to market strategies. An investor, board member to private, public and non-profit organizations, and has extensive experience in banking and financial technology.
Tracey is an advisor to FGS on strategic and financial operations of the business. She is currently President of several Constellation Software businesses, and was previously CFO of Jonas Software.
Our mission is to create partnerships and increased collaboration within the FinTech ecosystem. In order to do that, we are actively engaged in the FinTech community. The result? We are able to share and provide insights to our clients and the community.
