At the inaugural Women in IT Awards held in Toronto on November 21, 2019, CEO and Founder of FinTech Growth Syndicate (FGS), Sue Britton, was honoured with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. This award was presented to a woman who is influential as a technology business owner or main shareholder, ensuring the company meets its goals, irrespective of its size. The individual also needed to demonstrate commercial success, plans for growth, how strategies were set and achieved, and how innovation is encouraged.

“In a very competitive category, Sue Britton’s submission stood out for her not only talking about open leadership but also implementing it in practise within her business. She views the customer as the main and most important factor when making a decision on the future of the business,” said Women in IT award organizers.

CEO and Founder, Sue Britton highlighted that the wins were a collective effort from the FGS team and supporters. “Both award categories were extremely competitive, and we’d like to thank our amazing team, leaders, friends and colleagues for their continued support in helping us redefine “impossible”, says Britton.

Moving forward, Sue Britton will continue to inspire innovation through her dedication to her clients, their customers, and the team at FGS.
